We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded State Manager to lead a high-impact portfolio within Tasmania.
This role offers great breadth where you can influence, educate, and engage a wide stakeholder group.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs across Operations and Maintenance and Capital Projects.
- Represent the business with senior stakeholders.
- Drive business development and growth opportunities.
- Oversee governance, reporting, and performance across multiple projects and programs.
- Champion health, safety, environment, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with a focus on succession and capability.
- Leverage digital tools and data to enhance delivery.
- Engage with regulators and industry bodies.
To succeed in this role, you likely come from a similar position in a comparable industry and possess executive-level experience in utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors.
You showcase strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise, as well as proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in program governance, change leadership, and strategic planning is also essential.
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or project management are required.
You are autonomous, thrive in diverse work environments, and can effectively manage competing demands.
A 'can do' attitude and positive, friendly demeanour are also necessary.
