Student Learning and Support Specialist

The School Learning Officer is a critical position that provides essential support for student learning and wellbeing. This role works closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement tailored plans, catering to diverse learning needs.
Essential Duties- Collaborate with educators to implement specialist knowledge and adapt programs to meet specific student requirements.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, case managers, and staff from multiple departments to design and implement individualised plans.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require adjustments, enabling them to participate in school activities.
- Support students engaging in extracurricular activities and offer feedback and observations to teachers.
- Evaluate and assess the learning needs of students under the direction of classroom teachers.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, case workers, and relevant staff members.
- Hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card.
- Demonstrate full support for the values and ethos of Catholic Education.
