Procurement Consultant Role

We provide expert guidance on procurement and contract management to support clients in achieving value for money outcomes.

As a skilled procurement consultant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and challenging work that directly supports government objectives and delivers positive outcomes for Australia.

Our team offers tailored advice and support across the full procurement lifecycle, from strategy and planning to negotiation, contract establishment, and ongoing management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients,
  • Leading small teams to achieve defined outcomes,
  • Providing strategic procurement and contract management expertise to help clients achieve value for money outcomes and ensure compliance with legislative frameworks,
  • Guiding clients through the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, and
  • Delivering exceptional client service by thinking strategically and creatively.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A strong understanding of legislative frameworks and policies,
  • Experience across the full procurement lifecycle, including strategy and planning, tender development and evaluation, negotiation, contract establishment, and contract management,
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with both qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and a keen attention to detail,
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to deliver exceptional client service,
  • Self-motivated and confident with the ability to influence and guide clients effectively,
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders,
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues,
  • And a growth mindset – curious, open to challenges, and committed to continuous learning.

We require candidates to be Australian Citizens in order to obtain a government security clearance.
