Workplace Relations and Safety Expert

We are seeking a seasoned lawyer to lead our Workplace Relations & Safety team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Crafting employment contracts and policies that align with industry standards.
  • Providing strategic advice on enterprise bargaining and industrial action, ensuring clients navigate complex legal landscapes effectively.
  • Defending unfair dismissal, breach of award, and adverse action claims, leveraging expertise in workplace relations and safety.
  • Offering counsel to businesses, not-for-profit organizations, local government entities, and educational institutions on legislative requirements and compliance.
  • Conducting thorough workplace investigations and providing actionable recommendations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years post-admission experience in workplace relations and safety.
  • Proven track record of handling workplace relations and safety matters, including dispute resolution and litigation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
