Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to lead and support a team in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.

About the Role

This full-time position offers an excellent salary package reflecting your skills and experience, with above award wages and flexible working hours. As 1st in charge of the room, you will be responsible for implementing and upholding the policies and procedures of the organisation, while working closely with other staff to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education/Services or equivalent, proven experience in a similar role, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards, as well as knowledge of Child Safe Standards and Child Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with children and families, and implement effective strategies to promote child development and learning;
  • Lead, guide and support a team of educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational program;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and staff supervision;
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research-based approaches;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the organisation's philosophy and values;
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience;

  • A rotating roster with varied shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm;
