We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management, with experience in managing large and complex integrated systems.

Job Description:

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires the ability to lead a team of engineers and coordinate with other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, including coordinating and allocating tasks
  • Attend sales and project review meetings
  • Develop system designs and layouts
  • Manage design schedule, budget and work orders
  • Liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants and purchasing team
  • Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical documentation
  • Develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans
  • Provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
