Senior Gameplay Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team at Gameloft Brisbane. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative gameplay features for our new and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement gameplay features that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to create detailed feature specifications and ensure seamless integration with other game systems.
  • Take ownership of gameplay feature implementation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of game mechanics, physics, and mathematics to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences.
  • Work closely with other programmers to ensure efficient and effective code implementation, debugging, and testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior programmers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in games development, with a strong focus on gameplay programming.
  • Deep understanding of modern C++ and experience with C# and Python is advantageous.
  • Experience with commercial game engines, preferably Unreal Engine.
  • Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with designers, artists, and other programmers.
