Gameplay Programmer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team at Gameloft Brisbane. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating engaging gameplay features for our new and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative gameplay mechanics and features.
  • Collaborate with designers to create detailed feature specifications and ensure seamless integration with the game's overall design.
  • Take ownership of gameplay feature implementation, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of game engines, programming languages, and software development best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and technologies to improve the game development process.

Requirements

  • Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in games development, with a strong focus on gameplay programming.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ and experience with C# and Python is advantageous.
  • Experience with commercial game engines, preferably Unreal Engine.
  • Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
