Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled automotive professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop and ensure exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This full-time position involves diagnosing vehicle issues, repairing or replacing damaged parts, and maintaining accurate service records. The ideal candidate will have a relevant certificate or diploma in automotive repair and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose vehicle problems using visual inspection and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace engines, brakes, suspension components, and other mechanical parts.
  • Troubleshoot complex transmission issues and implement precise solutions.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical components to enhance vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report findings to customers and management.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including fluid changes and inspections, on various vehicle types.
  • Maintain current knowledge through ongoing education and specialized training.
  • Install new or rebuilt transmissions into vehicles, ensuring correct calibration and optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Certificate III or Diploma in Automotive Repair
