Automotive Mechanic

Billing Crash and Mechanical Repairs

Position : Full time permanent position available

Salary : $70,000 to $80,000 per year plus superannuation

Role Description :

  • Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a range of taxi vehicles engines, brakes and electrical systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance needs in a friendly and clear manner.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.
  • Change engine and transmission oils.
  • Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.
  • Roadworthy Testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Cleaning equipment and work areas.
  • Are reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
  • Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Skills required for the role

Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience along with formal qualifications (at least Certificate III)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
