About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Partner to join our People & Culture Team. This role will involve working closely with people Leaders to achieve best practice in Fair Work legislation, workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and professional development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating behaviours aligned to Evolution's Values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability and Respect. This opportunity will allow you to develop your technical skills, engage with stakeholders across our operations and learn within the People and Culture Team.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or Business Partner role.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources (or a relevant related discipline).
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing performance.
  • Experience supporting annual HR processes and cyclical activities.
  • Ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and initiate improvement activities.
  • Ability to partner effectively with People Leaders, advising and influencing to obtain a positive outcome.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
  • Previous experience working in the mining industry (highly desirable but not essential).
  • Confident Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint user.
  • A proactive attitude and openness to learning.
  • Commitment to working safely always.
