Job Title: Cultural Ambassador for Community Engagement

About the Role:
The Visitor Services Officer is a vital role in enhancing the public profile of our institution through the delivery of exceptional customer service and positive interactions with visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service to visitors from diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities
- Respond to visitor needs and enquiries, providing guided tours and assisting with public programs and special events
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver successful exhibitions and programs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Museum exhibits, collections, and programs to provide accurate information to visitors

Requirements:
- Valid working visa or Australian citizenship/residency
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate within 6 months of appointment
- Working With Children Check prior to appointment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required
