We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse to join our Casual Bank team at various metropolitan and regional locations.
The Role:
- To ensure all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service are appropriately triaged, assessed, and provided with frontline care in collaboration with skilled Urgent Care medical practitioners.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Triage of all patients presenting to Urgent Care.
- Comprehensive and accurate nursing triage ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
- Action promptly for triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or deterioration.
- Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the dynamic Urgent Care environment.
- Deliver high-quality person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners.
About You:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with current registration.
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
- Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, remote nursing or urgent care setting (preferably 1 year minimum).
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written; high level of critical thinking.
- Autonomy: ability to work independently and delegate tasks when necessary.
- Passion for helping others with a personable approach.
