Senior Customer Solutions Manager

About the Role

This role is for a Senior Customer Solutions professional to take on key responsibilities in cloud solution management.

The successful candidate will have experience leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion.

You will work with organizations in all stages of their cloud adoption journey, guiding customers through the value realization, enablement, and governance of their cloud transformation process.

As a Senior Customer Solutions Manager, you will identify and accelerate the customer's realization of value throughout the cloud lifecycle by applying AWS services, partner solutions, best practices, and other initiatives.

Additionally, you will help customers achieve organizational cloud readiness, cloud fluency, and cloud skills through skills guilds, experience-based accelerators, training partners, and other initiatives.

Establishing and maturing operating models/structures to drive scale and long-term success through the application of AWS frameworks and mechanisms is also an essential part of this role.

A day in the life of a Senior Customer Solutions Manager includes working across broad functional teams to apply your technical, business, and program management expertise to solve complex technology problems for our customers.

You will also advise our customers and their executives on what a successful cloud journey looks like and what needs to be done in their environments to support that.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working backwards from the customer to understand context, vision, and strategic goals to guide and accelerate cloud journeys.
  • Value Realization: Identifying and accelerating the customer's realization of value throughout the cloud lifecycle.
  • Enablement: Helping customers achieve organizational cloud readiness, cloud fluency, and cloud skills.
  • Governance: Establishing and maturing operating models/structures to drive scale and long-term success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience.
  • Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams.
