Accounts Receivable Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The role is ideal for someone who wants a flexible work arrangement with a well-established organisation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small credit team, reporting directly to the ANZ Credit Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up new accounts and administering credit checks
  • Banking and allocations, as well as following up any queries or debt collection issues
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Account reconciliations and managing approximately 400 active accounts
  • Escalating bad accounts to an external debt agency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous proven working experience in an end-to-end Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer position
  • The ability to hit the ground running and work effectively with both major and smaller accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for building long-term relationships and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with a mid-tier ERP system such as JDE or Pronto
