Job Description: This role involves providing social work services to individuals with brain injuries and their families in a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work across home, community, and centre-based settings.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced social worker who can provide psychosocial assessment and counselling, collaborate with allied health professionals, liaise with external care providers, maintain clinical records and reporting, and supervise students and contribute to service planning.

Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing social work services to individuals with brain injuries and their families
  • Collaborating with allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Liaising with external care providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and reports
  • Supervising students and contributing to service planning

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in social work assessment and intervention
  • Demonstrated understanding of community-based brain injury rehabilitation
  • Experience working in strengths-based practice and family-centered approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
