We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus bonus opportunities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for test planning, design, and execution, ensuring proper test coverage for all functional requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Test planning and design, including test data and environment requirements
  • Creating and maintaining test plans and test scripts
  • Preparing and managing test data
  • Executing test scripts, recording and analysing results for variance against expected outcomes
  • Logging and tracking identified defects & monitoring them through resolution
  • Providing feedback to the development team

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience working on medium to large IT projects as a QA/Test Engineer (Manual testing focused)
  • Experience using Jira and Git
  • Experience with API testing
  • Testing experience in both back-end C# server and UI JavaScript environments
  • Testing experience in Mobile apps eg. iOS &/or Android
  • Able to work in a fast-paced Agile/frequent releases environment and adapt to significant amounts of change in work assignment
  • Knowledge of primary database engines (SQL Server) with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation & troubleshooting
