Job Title: Cathodic Protection Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cathodic Protection Specialist to join our Infrastructure Services Team in Brisbane.

The primary objective of this role is to execute field services for OSD's operated pipelines and external clients safely and efficiently. These services include:

  • Cathodic Protection Surveys
  • DCVG surveys
  • CIPS
  • Interference testing
  • CP Design, installation, and commissioning
  • Fault finding and risk mitigation

This must be done to the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirements, meet agreed quality, operability, schedule targets, and in strict accordance with relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideal have:

  • A CP1 - Cathodic Protection Tester - NACE (or above; NACE CP2-4)
  • An equivalent trade certificate - E&I will be highly regarded, or an equivalent engineering degree - materials or electrical will be highly regarded.
  • Experience within the oil & gas industry is also highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenance.
  • A safety-first approach.
  • Experience working in remote areas.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • A high level of electrical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.
  • Good communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Sound computer skills.
  • Experience with communicating with landowners and key stakeholders.
