We are seeking casual Educators to join our team in an Out of School Hours program.
This role is flexible, with morning and afternoon shifts available, as well as full day shifts during school holiday periods.
As a Casual Educator within this program, you will play a key role in supporting our teams to deliver high-quality educational play and leisure-based programs for school-aged children (6-12 years).
You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children's learning and well-being.
- No formal Early Childhood qualifications are required for working within this program, but people who do hold current Early Childhood qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- A deep commitment to ensuring children's safety and wellbeing.
- Knowledge of the My Time, Our Place Framework, National Quality Standards, and National Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- A commitment to our organisation's values of integrity, inclusiveness, dignity, and compassion.
- Current First Aid, CPR Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications, or a willingness to obtain.
- A valid Working with Vulnerable People card.
