We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our trademarks team as a solicitor. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional.
About Our Trademarks TeamThis role will involve Australian and international trademark filing and prosecution, portfolio management, rebranding and clearance advice, drafting and negotiating consents and co-existence agreements, advising on intellectual property aspects of due diligence, and providing support on trademark and domain name disputes.
Requirements:- An admitted lawyer in Australia or New Zealand with 3+ years of experience in trademark prosecutions from a leading national or international private practice, or an in-house environment.
- An excellent academic record, strong legal skills, and a practical mindset.
- A proactive approach, desire to be an integral member of the team, ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within the team.
- A hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
