Associate Investment Analyst Role

This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in reviewing investment teams and processes, as well as the return and risk characteristics of underlying managed funds across all asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain databases and other quantitative information to aid with fund filters and analysis.
  • Aid with collection of information and supporting documentation for fund manager reviews and sector reports.
  • Participate in fund manager assessment meetings, which may require interstate or international travel.
  • Score assessment criteria for fund managers.
  • Present and support investment ratings to the research committee.
  • Write detailed research reports on investment products covering style, process, strategies, performance, and structures.
  • Review reports and provide factual feedback to fund managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business (advantageous).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for investments and markets, particularly equity.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload.
  • Team player with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
