About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at VMCH. As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents, empowering them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and residents or their representatives.
- Provide person-centered care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
- Conduct thorough assessments, collect and analyze data, and make informed decisions to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that promote resident-centered care.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement.
- Experience in assessing aged care residents and developing care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously, with a high level of self-motivation.
- Proficiency in utilizing information technology, including MS Office.
