About the Role:
Box Hill Institute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Educator to join our Faculty of Health, Community and Life Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible education and training in the field of nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and relevant course materials and lessons that meet the needs of our students.
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote student success and employability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, colleagues, and industry partners to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement processes to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
About You:
- You hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency.
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an acute setting, specializing in ICU/ED or theatre as a Registered Nurse or higher.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- You are passionate about knowledge sharing and have a commitment to continuous improvement and high-level communication.
- You are highly supportive and compassionate, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
