Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Are you a highly skilled financial professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and growing organization? We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at REO Group.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to lead our financial reporting and compliance efforts globally. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute month-end timetables and ensure timely completion of financial reporting tasks.
  • Prepare and post end-of-month journals across multiple countries and maintain accurate entity P&L and Group Consolidation reporting.
  • Coding bank accounts and monthly reconciliation of the GL, maintaining accruals & prepayments for the Group.
  • Manage Group Chart of Accounts, booking revenue and expenses for Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, EUR, and US entities.
  • Prepare and complete Australia GST, Stamp Duty, and WHT returns, maintaining and reporting Account Receivables and Account Payables monthly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cash allocations, maintaining Fixed Asset Register, and assisting with the preparation and payment of invoices weekly.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements, furnishing information to tax advisors for tax filing, and driving continuous improvement to finance processes and business projects as required.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly energetic and proactive individual with a degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Big 4, Mid-tier, or within the insurance industry. You should have strong intermediate Excel skills, a solid understanding of M&A, and exceptional communication skills to shape positive working relationships.
