Saab 340 Flight Attendant
Rex Airlines operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft to 54 destinations in regional Australia.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time solo flight attendants based in Cairns. The role offers a great work-life balance, competitive remuneration, and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work, and some nights spent away from home.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the entire cabin independently ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
- Provide a caring and personalized service while traveling to unique destinations.
- Manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Be no taller than 173 cm.
- Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
- Be able to demonstrate relevant education, work experience, or English language proficiency.
- Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check.
- Have experience in customer service.
- Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device.
- Be flexible; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods.
- Have a high level of personal presentation.
- Have a natural willingness to please and care for people.
Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required. You must complete all screening questions to be considered.
