Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

As an integral part of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal operation of control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems across Bayswater power station. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will enable you to diagnose faults, resolve defects, and conduct routine maintenance with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide priority breakdown maintenance and support for control, instrumentation, and monitoring systems
  • Diagnose faults and resolve defects, conducting routine maintenance with precision
  • Create, implement, and document software and hardware modifications for plant systems, including small control projects
  • Maintain accurate records of plant modifications and prepare training materials for skills development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate and at least 50% completion of an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Advanced trade skills and hands-on experience with power station equipment (desirable)
  • Fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving skills for complex control systems
  • Effective communication and safety awareness, ability to work independently
