Key Responsibilities

This role will involve reviewing social impact assessments for new developments and conducting research into community needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our social and cultural infrastructure is responsive and inclusive.

You will also be responsible for developing innovative strategies to address the evolving needs of our diverse community. This may involve working with community groups, organizations, and other stakeholders to identify and address key issues.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in social science, social planning, town planning or a related discipline;">
  • Extensive work experience in community engagement or a social/community planning role;">
  • Demonstrated experience in primary research/data collection and the application of primary and secondary research methodologies;">
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and giving professional comments from a social perspective on planning proposals;">
  • Demonstrated experience working as a member of a team to deliver collaborative outcomes;">
  • Demonstrated high-level written and interpersonal communication skills;">
  • Computer literacy in basic office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate applications;">
  • A current Class C driver's licence;">
