Job Title: Assistant Venue ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The Sporting Globe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the venue, including managing staff, running the restaurant and bar, and ensuring superior service and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.
- Operate the restaurant, bar, and functions, ensuring seamless service and quality.
- Oversee the FOH operational facets of the business, including food and beverage, customer service, and financial targets.
- Adhere to and audit OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
- Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
- Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
- Maintain current market knowledge and execute promotional concepts to assist in business growth.
- 3 years of hospitality management experience.
- Exposure to both bar and restaurant environments.
- Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business.
- The ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
- RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced essential.
- First aid certificate preferred but not essential.
- Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential.
