Job Overview

The Software Development Manager oversees the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of a product and related technologies. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, conducting regular meetings to provide feedback and track progress, and fostering a positive team culture that encourages accountability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, test analysts, and a delivery manager.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, track progress on individual objectives, and support career growth and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Align with other Development Managers to ensure consistent practices and coordinated improvement initiatives across teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a software development leadership role managing and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on technical experience with .NET Framework, SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI, Microsoft Windows Server, and Internet Information Services.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in agile methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes with the ability to align technical solutions to meet both business and customer needs.
