Job Summary

Automation Architect Position

We are seeking an Automation Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting robust, modular, and reusable test automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms.

This role is critical in defining the automation vision, guiding QA strategy, and aligning automation with DevOps and Agile practices across Guidewire implementations.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and a proven track record of delivering automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect test automation frameworks using industry-leading tools.
  • Lead automation strategy and execution for Guidewire Core Platform implementations.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
  • Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments using AWS DevOps tools and services.
Requirements
  • Proven framework development experience in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber (BDD), and Rest Assured (API Testing).
  • Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline).
  • AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional Certification.
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) Certificate.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools like Applitools and Copilot.
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Guidewire QA Certification.
  • Proficient in version control systems like Git.
Qualifications & Certifications (Optional)
  • Master's degree in information technology or Engineering in computer science.
  • 16 years of QA automation experience, including framework architecture and design.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Guidewire QA Certification.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) Certificate with Agile project delivery experience.
