**Job Title:** Team Leader Assessments Das Hda

 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to lead a team of Planning Assessment professionals and coordinate the effective, high-quality, and timely environmental assessment of State significant projects. As a key member of our Housing Delivery Authority, you will work on a wide range of complex and contentious state significant projects, building relationships with various stakeholders including external agencies and the community while managing their different and often competing interests.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive best practice and focus on business improvement as well as identify and resolve emerging issues.
  • Recommend changes to the assessment system to significantly reduce the time taken to assess State significant projects without sacrificing the delivery of quality outcomes of these assessments.
  • Ensure the completion of all assessments within the relevant benchmark period to provide greater certainty for applicants and the community and maintain the integrity of the Government's planning program.

 

**Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members and prepare high-quality reports.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant environmental assessment and planning legislation and processes.
