Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Underwriter to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Senior Property Underwriter, you will be responsible for working on complex and technically challenging new business and renewal mid-market risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite complex mid-market and corporate property accounts
- Engage with a broad selection of brokers and build relationships
- Work closely with the Underwriting Team to develop their capabilities and foster a collegiate underwriting culture
- Monitor performance to ensure key financial indicators are achieved
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the organization
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar property underwriting role at a senior level
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- A strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and the ability to problem solve
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Tertiary qualifications that relate to and enhance the applicant's/incumbent's ability to carry out the job functions
