Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Aboriginal Child and Family Practitioner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing meaningful relationships with Aboriginal children and young people, their families and communities.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of cultural diversity, child development and community engagement.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to support the needs of Aboriginal children and young people, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in your care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly developed problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions
  • A deep understanding of cultural diversity, child development and community engagement, with a strong commitment to social justice
  • An Australian Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology or Education
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
