Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Description

The role of a SITE SUPERVISOR is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping the mega trend of decarbonization in the hydropower and renewable energies market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors' daily activities, ensuring work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule, and budget) and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Understand subcontractor's scope of work: contract specifications, drawings, and schedules.
  2. Act as Voith's primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
  3. Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues.
  4. Supervise subcontractors' daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule, and budget) and contractual requirements. Identify and document deviations.
  5. Coordinate work planning with all subcontractors' trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
  6. Issue non-compliance reports (NCRs) to subcontractors.
  7. Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule, and budget).
  8. Coordinate change management processes and manage claims with subcontractors.
  9. Approve timesheets, progress, and invoicing.
  10. Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks, and opportunities, contractual issue review, invoicing, etc.) and issue minutes of meeting.
  11. Obtain and maintain all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.
Your Profile
  • Diploma in electrical or mechanical, or related field.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in Construction Management.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as necessary.
Site Conditions
  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
