Job Overview
The Community Housing Services Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality community housing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.
- Support staff in delivering customer-centric services that promote independence and choice.
- Drive growth initiatives and support grant and tender writing projects.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to policy development and ensure alignment with sector best practices.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Promote a workplace culture that reflects our organization's values.
- Develop staff capacity through supervision, support, and training.
- Enhance community awareness of our organization and the community housing sector.
- Establish and nurture strategic and operational partnerships across sectors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in community housing or related fields.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
- Commitment to ethical, professional behavior and continuous improvement.
