">Job DescriptionThe primary goal of this role is to deliver comprehensive financial planning for projects from inception to completion. This involves meticulous analysis of project requirements, estimating costs, and developing detailed budgets to guide the construction process.
This includes thorough analyses of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to accurately estimate costs for materials, labour, equipment, and other expenses.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity studies to assess the financial implications of various risk factors.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs.
- Monitor budgets to update price files and identify items for consideration for future tenders.
- Participate in pre-tender buildability reviews and post-project reviews to evaluate cost performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.
- Apply sound financial principles across the business.
- Significant experience in managing multi-faceted medium-density projects and developments.
- At least 5 years of experience at a senior organizational level.
- Commercially astute with the ability to understand and interpret technical aspects of design and construction.
- Tertiary qualification in a building or engineering field preferred. Postgraduate qualifications in property desirable but not mandatory.
