Launch Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Launch Engineer to join our team. As a Launch Engineer, you will be responsible for developing hardware and software solutions for our Starship program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and manufacturing mechanisms, actuation systems, fluid systems, and large structures.
- Performing structural, dynamic, thermal, and fluids analysis to determine requirements and optimize the design of these systems.
- Collaborating with engineers designing the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles to determine how the tower, launch mount, and vehicle can work together most effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of experience with mechanical or fluid systems design, analysis, and hands-on assembly.

Additionally, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

- Be self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
