SCM Procurement Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Management expert to join our team in Adelaide.

This role involves managing duties associated with supplier on-boarding, Non-Disclosure Agreements, quoting, negotiation, selection, and purchase order placement of indirect, production and aftermarket products, services, in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

  • Investigating potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services;
  • Identifying and addressing shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements;
  • Expediting quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure delivery, quality and corporate KPIs are achieved;
  • Generating weekly and monthly Supply Chain Management reports;
  • Preparing import and export permits;
  • Providing administrative support for procurement processes;
  • Monitoring supply chain operations and distributing correspondence accordingly.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements, and experience in cost analysis, proposal negotiations, expediting, and shortage management.

Applicants must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance and complete a National Police Check.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management;
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
