Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in enhancing our financial capabilities and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring systems and controls are running smoothly across all Australian locations.

You will work closely with the National Commercial Director to achieve our financial goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial systems, transactions, and reporting processes across all locations.
  • Manage end-of-month close, reconciliations, BAS, GST, PAYG, and payroll processes.
  • Maintain and improve cashflow models and financial reports for board review.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, including payment reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial compliance, documentation, and internal controls are up to date.
  • Identify and implement system/process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Liaise with external accountants and payroll providers across Australia.
  • Contribute to dashboard reporting, KPIs, and strategic planning insights.
  • Support budgeting and rolling forecast processes alongside the National Commercial Director.
  • Assist with rollout of new ERP system.
  • Support project leads to use our ERP platform to monitor project financials.
  • Mentor junior finance/admin staff and review their work.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax, payroll, and compliance obligations.
