Driving Financial Performance and Operational Excellence

We are seeking a strategic operations leader to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and governance across a nationally recognised high-performance program.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created leadership role where you'll be responsible for budget oversight, grant management, and financial reporting, while also shaping the operational frameworks that support athlete pathways and program delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage program budgets, financial forecasting, and funding allocations.
  • Prepare grant acquittals and compliance reports for key funding bodies, ensuring transparency and alignment with grant conditions.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior leaders to support planning, resource allocation, and decision-making.
  • Oversee governance frameworks, including risk management, policy development, and internal compliance.
Key Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years' experience in commercially focused finance roles, coupled with exceptional business partnering capabilities.
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting within complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated operational experience with a finance lens, optimising processes and resource allocation to drive efficiency and performance.
