As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products. This position is based at our Townsville branch and requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Providing expert assistance to customers with pricing and product queries, enhancing their shopping experience and promoting loyalty
  • Processing counter sales efficiently and effectively, contributing to the growth of our business
  • Maintaining high standards of safety processes and procedures to protect both staff and customers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective merchandise campaign materials
  • Contributing to maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment that reflects positively on our brand
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries in a safe and efficient manner

Success in this role requires previous experience in a team support role within a fast-paced environment and a genuine passion for Australian farming and agriculture. Ideal candidates should possess:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Effective verbal communication skills to engage with diverse customer groups
  • A proactive approach to work, coupled with practical organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improving internal sales processes and contribute to driving business growth
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
