Restaurant Maintenance Team Member

This role is part of our restaurant team and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work autonomously and have a high level of attention to detail. They will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the restaurant are clean and tidy, including the kitchen, dining area and external spaces.

  • Maintaining the internal and external environment of the restaurant to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming space for staff, customers and management.
  • Ensuring equipment is well-functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure.
  • Maintaining the carpark, patio and exterior equipment including bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
  • Organizing and cleaning the back area of the restaurant including the corral area and staff toilets.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • To be highly organized and able to meet strict timelines.
  • To be well-presented and friendly.
  • Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  • To be physically fit and able to perform tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders and cleaning windows and toilets.
  • To hold a valid police check and have full working rights in Australia.

Schedule may include 8 hour shifts, afternoon shifts, day shifts, weekend work, flexible hours, morning shifts, night shifts and shift work.

You may also be eligible for overtime pay, penalty rates and performance bonuses.
