As a Head of R&D - Materials Scientist, you'll be part of a talented team driving innovation and growth, leveraging your expertise in biomaterials, polymers, and sustainable processing to make a lasting impact.
Your Key Contributions
- You'll lead the development of our core material innovation, defining and executing our technical strategy across materials science and product development.
- You'll oversee the scale-up of lab formulations to pilot and industrial-scale manufacturing, ensuring physical, chemical, and aesthetic properties meet product specifications.
- You'll collaborate with internal scientists and engineers, managing external R&D collaborations to drive innovation in material development, processing, and application.
About You
- You hold a PhD in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 8+ years of industry experience, ideally in biomaterials, polymers, or sustainable materials, with a proven track record of bringing materials from lab to market.
- You possess deep expertise in material formulation, characterisation, and performance testing, as well as strong knowledge of commercial-scale manufacturing and process optimisation.
