We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner/Housekeeper. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the lives of others.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. You will ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift, interact with residents in a friendly and positive manner, and perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting; or the willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and schedules
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A positive attitude and compassion towards elderly residents
  • Understanding of infection control practices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
