Job Title
A highly skilled Clinical Trial Start-Up Officer is sought to support the establishment of clinical trials within our research centres. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to facilitate study start-up activities under management direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, escalation and execution in the performance of start-up tasks to key performance indicators of timeframe, budget, quality and compliance.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, prepare submissions for initial and ongoing substantial amendments, and develop/deliver training materials/content.
- Utilize research data systems to track project progress, manage documents and facilitate invoicing.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in a clinical research environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and guidelines for conducting clinical trials in Australia and experience in obtaining and maintaining approvals.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise autonomy and initiative in day-to-day problem solving, communication and decision making.
- Strong computer skills and willingness to utilize existing and new systems for clinical trials project management and data analysis.
