Urgent Care Team Member

Job DescriptionAs a dedicated Urgent Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring all patients presenting to our Urgent Care Service receive prompt and accurate care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive nursing triage for all patients
- Acting promptly on any patients requiring emergency escalation or showing signs of deterioration
- Performing procedural work such as suturing and plastering
- Delivering high-quality, person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU
- 3 years' experience as an RN (preferably with ICU experience)
- Strong communication skills and a high level of critical thinking
