Job Title: Manager Sustaining Capital

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead the delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring efficient project execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sustaining Capital Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, safety standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and external contractors to coordinate resources and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and engineering practices.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with our strategic goals. Develop proposals, tenders, and RFQs in collaboration with internal subject matter experts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including site visits and industry event representation.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams on brownfields and sustaining capital projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and RFQs.
