Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hybrid Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software applications using Java, Angular JS, and MySQL DB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Build robust and scalable POS applications using Java, Angular JS, and MySQL DB.
  • System Improvement: Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to meet business requirements.
  • Prototyping: Create working prototypes to prove out ideas and concepts.
  • Code Analysis and Modification: Analyze and modify existing code to meet requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Project Leadership: As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for development, support, maintenance, and implementation of a complex project module.
  • Technical Expertise: Have good experience in the application of standard software development principles and possess in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/programming language.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute tasks, and respond to technical queries/requests from team members and customers.
  • Mentorship: Coach, guide, and mentor junior members in the team to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java, Angular JS, and MySQL DB.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of related experience.
  • Skills: Strong experience in front-end and back-end development, with expertise in Java, Angular JS, SQL, and hybrid mobile development.
  • POS Development: Good understanding of POS development, including on-premise development, and experience working with Point of Sale hardware (registers, printers, scanners, payment devices) in web and mobile apps.
  • Hybrid Mobile Development: Experience working with hybrid mobile OS and technologies (Android/iOS) and expertise in developing and consuming web services.
  • SDLC Tools: Experience working with SDLC tools like Jira, Git, and Bitbucket, and knowledge of retail POS processes, including customer-facing and back-office processes.
