Telehealth Doctor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Doctor to join our team at Montu. As a Telehealth Doctor, you will be conducting consultations via Coviu and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours per week. You will have the stability of a permanent full-time income and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home anywhere in Australia (excluding South Australia).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Telehealth consultations via Coviu
  • Prescribe alternative treatment plans to patients
  • Work collaboratively with our Doctor Support Team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in alternative medicine
Requirements
  • Medical Degree
  • AHPRA registration with nil restrictions or conditions
  • Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
  • Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis (highly regarded but not mandatory)
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance - covering telehealth & prescribing for schedule 8 medications including medical cannabis
  • Able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
  • Excellent communication, strong work ethic and attention to detail
