Job Summary
The Medical Assistant I Certified will work in an outpatient clinic setting, providing routine clinical and administrative support to healthcare teams. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with patient registration, check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referrals.
- Reviews patient records to determine necessary health screenings.
- Ensures exam and treatment rooms are properly stocked and maintained.
- Supports emergency situations as directed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Must be certified as a Medical Assistant through a recognized organization.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Prior medical assistant experience preferred.
